Visiting supporters are allocated seats in the North Stand. The number of blocks released changes with demand and the stadium's current operational configuration.
A common current visiting allocation is around 800 seats in the North Stand, with additional blocks possible when segregation and demand allow. Historic guides quoting the whole stand or older capacity should not be treated as the sale figure.
Southend has reopened other sections during recent ground works, so always use the visiting club's current allocation and ticket map.
Away supporters enter the designated North Stand turnstiles behind the goal. The ticket will identify the correct block and any collection arrangements.
Segregation lines can move, so arrive early and follow the current signage rather than older photographs of the stand.
The North Stand is covered and close to the pitch, but roof supports can affect some sightlines. Its low roof helps a travelling following create noise.
Roots Hall is undergoing phased maintenance and improvement, so individual blocks can be unavailable at short notice.
The away concourse provides basic hot food, snacks, drinks and toilets. Range, alcohol sales and payment arrangements can change by fixture; bring a working card and arrive with a backup plan.
Away tickets are sold through the visiting club. Wheelchair spaces, companion tickets and the very limited accessible parking must be arranged before matchday.
