Inside Etihad Stadium

Away end information

The visiting configuration at Etihad Stadium is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

A normal league allocation is around 3,000 in the South Stand, distributed across the levels released for the fixture. The visiting club confirms the exact blocks and whether the offer is split vertically.

Domestic cups can extend the allocation into more of South Stand Levels 1 and 3. Manchester City's expanded overall capacity does not determine the number of away tickets.

Where away fans stand or sit

Visiting supporters use South Stand entrances L1, L2 and L3. Check the level and entrance on the ticket before joining the queue because the three routes are not interchangeable after screening.

Turnstiles normally open two hours before kick-off and City recommends arriving at least an hour before the match.

View and weather

The South Stand gives a behind-goal view. Lower seats are close to the pitch; upper levels are steeper and more distant but provide a broader tactical view. The roof protects most rows, with fronts more exposed.

Food, drink and facilities

Redesigned South Stand concourses provide food, beer, soft drinks and toilets and the stadium is cashless. Alcohol and individual kiosks can be restricted for a particular match.

The maximum normal bag size is A4. A paid bag drop operates in the Grey Car Park, but avoiding a bag is faster.

Tickets and accessibility

Away wheelchair spaces are provided at Level 0 and on the Legends Balcony/Level 2, with a Changing Places facility and accessible toilets. Blue Badge parking is allocated through the visiting club; alcohol cannot be taken into the Legends Balcony because it remains in sight of the pitch.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 3 October 2026.
