Away end information

The visiting configuration at York Road Stadium is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

Maidenhead decides segregation per fixture, considering the opponent, competition and expected crowd. Unsegregated matches provide no fixed away allocation and visitors use the shared ground areas sold on their ticket.

When segregation applies, visitors are normally placed at the Bell Street End. Recent guidance describes a mainly uncovered standing area with a small covered section and a limited number of seats; the released footprint, seat availability and ticket total remain fixture-specific, and the ground capacity is not the allocation.

Where away fans stand or sit

For a segregated fixture, use the Bell Street entrance opposite Maidenhead station and adjacent to the Travelodge, then follow stewarding into the Bell Street End and any seating released for visitors.

For an unsegregated match, the club may use the main York Road entrance and permit wider circulation. The current ticket and match notice take priority over a previous visit because the two layouts use different gates and facilities.

View and weather

The Bell Street End is predominantly uncovered standing, with only part of the visitor area under cover. A limited number of seats may be released on a first-come or ticketed basis, depending on the fixture.

The Railway Main Stand provides covered seating with relatively clear sightlines. Do not assume that a standing ticket includes a seat, and bring weather protection for the exposed terrace.

Food, drink and facilities

Current club information confirms tea bars with hot food, snacks and drinks, plus cash and card payment around York Road. Stripes Sports Bar serves local beers and live sport in the normal shared setup.

At a segregated fixture, visitors may lose access to Stripes and alcohol may not be served inside the away section; a recent Bell Street guide instead listed pies, burgers, sausage rolls, chips and hot or cold drinks. Confirm the exact catering and payment setup.

Tickets and accessibility

Unreserved accessible seating is available in front of The Cage and within the Railway Main Stand, with step-free accessible toilets in The Cage and Alan Devonshire Suite. Request a complimentary carer ticket after booking and allow the club's stated processing notice.

There are no designated disabled stadium bays. Blue Badge holders may use lawful spaces on Bell Street, but availability is not guaranteed; confirm the entrance and viewing position directly before travel.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 9 October 2026.
