Inside Elland Road

Away end information

The visiting configuration at Elland Road is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

Visitors occupy the upper and, when released, lower tiers at the south end of the John Charles West Stand. A recent September 2026 allocation was 2,960; historically the upper-only configuration has been about 1,566 and the combined offer around 2,670-3,000.

The redevelopment and fixture segregation determine which tier and entrances are used. The visiting club's sale notice is the authority for the total, digital-ticket method and whether Howard's entrance supplements entrances 1 and 2.

Where away fans stand or sit

Away supporters use the West Stand south end through entrances 1 and 2, with Howard's used for some configurations. A new protected access corridor separates visitors from home and hospitality routes during the building work.

The upper and lower tiers are both seated. Rail seating or persistent standing can apply in parts of the allocation; request an appropriate row if you need an unobstructed seated experience.

View and weather

The side-on view is generally clear and close to the touchline. Upper-tier seats give the better overview but involve more steps; construction screening and temporary routes affect the approach rather than the basic sightline.

Food, drink and facilities

The away concourses serve hot food, soft drinks and normally alcohol, with cashless payment expected. The separate West Stand away fan zone sells food, drink and alcohol from about two hours before kick-off when confirmed.

There are no permanently designated away pubs beside the ground. Use the mapped check-first venues or Leeds city centre, then move to the fan zone or concourse.

Tickets and accessibility

The away entrances include a ramp beside West Stand entrance W1. Book wheelchair or amenity seating, companion tickets and accessible parking through the clubs; current construction may relocate the ordinary bay or drop-off route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 30 September 2026.
