Away end information

The visiting configuration at Borough Briggs is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

Elgin's normal lower-demand fixtures can be unsegregated. A current September 2026 supporter notice used the East or Gleaner Arena turnstiles for all supporters, showing why no permanent away entrance or fixed allocation should be assumed.

When segregation is required, visiting supporters are generally placed on the western side of the covered enclosure. A high-demand cup arrangement has also used separate west turnstiles and standing accommodation. The exact number and section come from the visiting club's ticket sale, not the ground's overall capacity.

Where away fans stand or sit

For a segregated match, the usual visiting area is the western part of the covered enclosure on the side of the pitch. Turnstiles at the leisure-centre end have been used for larger visiting followings, but the East entrance can serve everyone when the match is unsegregated.

Read the ticket and current supporter notice before approaching the ground. Entering the wrong side can mean a long walk around the perimeter once stewarding barriers are in place.

View and weather

The covered enclosure keeps most rain off but has supporting pillars that can interrupt sightlines. Standing positions nearer the front improve the angle but are more exposed to wind and showers.

Borough Briggs is an open, traditional ground in a northern climate. Bring a waterproof layer even when the forecast is reasonable and arrive early enough to choose a position if the section is unreserved.

Food, drink and facilities

Published high-demand visitor guidance has provided food vans accepting cash, card and contactless. The current unsegregated notice also recommends buying tickets online in advance, while retaining a cash turnstile for that fixture.

Catering position, alcohol availability, payment method and pay-at-gate sales are not permanent promises. The social club behind the Main Stand welcomes visitors under the current ground guidance but may reach capacity or operate differently for a segregated match.

Tickets and accessibility

Arrange wheelchair or amenity seating, a companion ticket, step-free entry and any parking requirement directly through the clubs. Do not assume the western standing enclosure or a public Lossie Green bay will meet individual access needs without confirmation.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
