Make a day of it
Elgin is a compact away day: the station, High Street and Borough Briggs fit within a practical walk. The important variables are segregation, the entrance and whether a public parking arrangement is being used for the fixture.
Walk from Elgin station, use the High Street options and leave 20 minutes for Borough Briggs.
Head directly to the ground and use the away-friendly social club only after checking opening and capacity.
Book a Borough Briggs-area space or verify Lossie Green rather than searching the streets beside the ground.
11:45 - arrive at Elgin station, town centre or the confirmed parking area.
12:00-13:35 - use the High Street, Drouthy Cobbler, Muckle Cross or the stadium social club.
13:40 - check the live turnstile and segregation instructions before walking around the ground.
14:05 - enter the allocated covered or standing section and locate the fixture's catering point.
17:00 - return to the centre with time for the level crossings and confirmed rail connection.
Borough Briggs Social Club is the clearest away-friendly option. The Muckle Cross and Drouthy Cobbler are verified central pubs but remain check-first, Elgin town centre is the recommended wider area, and the visiting concourse is mapped separately.
Elgin Cathedral, Elgin Museum and the High Street work well before a match. Cooper Park and Lady Hill are close to the centre, but protect enough time for the final walk and any level-crossing delay.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
