Inside Blackwell Meadows

Away end information

The visiting configuration at Blackwell Meadows is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

Darlington plays many matches without segregation. When segregation is used, the club's current guide says the western open end can accommodate about 800 standing visitors, with up to 90 seats made available in the adjacent covered stand.

Those figures describe the maximum current setup, not a guaranteed ticket allocation. The visiting club's sale notice controls the released total, seated places, entrance and whether the game will be segregated.

Where away fans stand or sit

For segregated fixtures, visiting supporters enter the turnstiles to the right of the clubhouse and use the uncovered west end. Any away seats are in the adjacent part of the 588-seat covered stand; check the ticket before joining the standing queue.

At unsegregated games supporters can normally move around most of the ground, but the covered Tinshed terrace remains for home supporters. Stewards and the live fixture notice take precedence.

View and weather

The visiting end is close to the pitch but largely uncovered and flat standing positions fill from the front. Arrive early for a preferred rail position and prepare for wind or rain; seated tickets give cover but may be very limited.

Food, drink and facilities

Current guides show dedicated hot and cold refreshments for segregated visitors and multiple catering points around the ground. The exact outlets, alcohol and payment methods depend on the fixture.

The Blackwell Meadows Clubhouse welcomes visitors before, during and after unsegregated matches, with food, drinks and live television. Do not rely on access when segregation is in force; visitors then use their own end facilities.

Tickets and accessibility

Accessible seating and the limited away-seat offer should be arranged through the clubs before purchase. Darlington provides audio commentary for visually impaired supporters on request, while Blue Badge parking must be booked in advance.

Advance tickets are advisable. Remaining tickets may be sold on the gate unless a fixture is declared all-ticket, but the visiting club's sale information is the authority.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 2 October 2026.
