Away ticket allocation

Balmoral Stadium is often unsegregated, so there is no permanent visiting ticket total or stand for routine fixtures. The 2,295 ground capacity is not an away allocation.

When segregation is required, visitors can be placed at the East End, along part of the North Side and in selected Main Stand seats. The exact mix, ticket categories and released number must come from the visiting club's sale notice.

Where away fans stand or sit

The segregated configuration normally uses the East End and part of the North Side, where a small covered terrace sits among otherwise shallow standing areas. Some visiting seats may be in the Main Stand on the opposite side.

At an unsegregated match, follow the turnstile and standing or seating category on the ticket rather than expecting a dedicated away end.

View and weather

The Main Stand seats are covered and elevated, but its roof is high. Much of the remaining accommodation is shallow standing with limited protection, so sightlines behind a crowd and shelter from Aberdeen weather vary considerably.

The small covered North Side terrace offers better protection than the open standing areas, but its use for visitors depends on the fixture layout.

Food, drink and facilities

Current ground guidance records a small set of food kiosks and carts, with the precise menu and payment method dependent on the fixture. Eat before arrival if a specific dietary option is essential.

The licensed Cove Rangers Fan Zone is at the far end of the car park and published supporter information says it is accessible to both home and away fans, normally from three hours before kick-off until 15 minutes before it. Opening and post-match service must still be confirmed.

Tickets and accessibility

The official stadium page lists two wheelchair spaces, a helper arrangement and accessible toilets. That is very limited capacity, so book through both clubs and confirm the entrance, companion ticket and parking before travelling.
