Balmoral is an out-of-centre ground with a useful mixed-supporter fan zone but very little immediately around it. Build the day around either central Aberdeen and a timed bus, or a direct drive with the parking notice checked first.

Travel directly to Balmoral and use the club's mixed-supporter licensed premises when it is confirmed open.
Drive with directions
Confirm the overflow arrangement and keep the final Shell and Burger King roundabout instructions to hand.
A sensible 3pm plan
11:30 - arrive in central Aberdeen or at the confirmed overflow parking area.
12:00-13:20 - use central Aberdeen, a mapped check-first hotel bar or the Cove Rangers Fan Zone.
13:25 - take the planned bus or start the final industrial-estate walk.
14:10 - check whether the ticket is unsegregated standing, East/North standing or a Main Stand seat.
17:00 - return to the Altens bus stop or allow the estate roads to clear before driving.
Food and pubs
The Cove Rangers Fan Zone is mapped away-friendly from the club's published mixed-supporter policy. The Wellington Hotel and Cove Bay Hotel are verified open but remain check-first, while central Aberdeen is the recommended wider base.
Things to do
Aberdeen Maritime Museum, the harbour and Union Street fit an early city-centre arrival. Balmoral sits well south of those attractions, so protect at least 45 minutes for the bus, walk and turnstile queue.

A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
