Inside The Meadow

Away end information

The visiting configuration at The Meadow is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

Most matches at The Meadow operate without segregation, so visitors use general admission and share the terraces and eligible seating. The exact number sold is still controlled by the ticket release and should not be inferred from the ground's approximate capacity.

Chesham can introduce segregation for a particular fixture. An April 2026 match placed visitors in the west corner between the Meadow End and Main Stand side, with terracing and a small allocation of Main Stand seats; that special plan is evidence of flexibility, not a permanent away end.

Where away fans stand or sit

At an unsegregated match, follow the normal turnstiles and stewarding to the shared terraces or any seat stated on the ticket. The Chess Suite and outside bars may then be accessible to both sets of supporters.

For a segregated match, use only the visitor entrance named in the notice. The April 2026 arrangement routed away supporters to the top car park and west-corner entrance, where separate terrace and seating provision operated.

View and weather

The Meadow is a compact traditional ground with close pitchside standing and a covered Main Stand. The visitor choice of cover and seating depends on the live setup, and roof supports can interrupt some seated sightlines.

General terraces include exposed areas, while the west-corner footprint used for segregation may offer only limited cover. Take weather protection and arrive early if an allocated seat or accessible position matters.

Food, drink and facilities

Current visiting information confirms food and drink inside the ground. The Chess Suite is open to non-members on ordinary matchdays, and the club said in September 2026 that the clubhouse and two outside bars were moving to new brewery suppliers.

When segregation applied in April 2026, visitors received Bill's Diner hot food, temporary toilets and the Wallis' Bar in their own west-corner section. Products, alcohol, payment methods and shared-clubhouse access remain fixture-dependent.

Tickets and accessibility

The ground has accessible entry and viewing provision, but the correct position, companion ticket and entrance should be arranged with Chesham United before purchase, especially if a segregated section is announced.

Confirm an accessible parking space or drop-off rather than relying on the £2 general car park. TfL step-free status, assistance and any Metropolitan line engineering work should also be checked before travel.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 6 October 2026.
