Make a day of it

Plan your Chesham United away day

Chesham is a compact station, High Street and ground day. The two public pubs sit on the walking route, while the clubhouse is the best close option only when the fixture remains unsegregated.

01

Metropolitan line and High Street

Arrive at Chesham, use a mapped check-first venue or the wider centre, then allow 15 minutes for the signed walk to Amy Lane.

02

Direct clubhouse plan

Go straight to The Meadow and use the Chess Suite only after the live match information confirms shared access.

03

Confirmed driver

Bring the current parking charge for the main entrance or choose The Moor, a named town car park or a pre-booked private space.

A sensible 3pm plan

11:45 - arrive at Chesham station or the parking location confirmed for the full match window.

12:00-13:30 - eat in the High Street area or use the Chess Suite if the live setup permits visitors.

13:35 - continue to Amy Lane and check whether normal or segregated entry is operating.

17:00 onwards - walk back through the High Street or allow the main drive and nearby roundabout to clear before driving.

Food and pubs

The Chess Suite is the strongest current mixed-supporter option at normal unsegregated matches. The George & Dragon and Red Lion are verified active but remain check-first; Chesham station and High Street form the recommended wider area, with the post-entry concourse mapped separately.

Things to do

Chesham Museum, Lowndes Park and the pedestrianised High Street fit an early arrival. The Chess Valley walk needs more time and suitable footwear and should not be combined with a tight kick-off schedule.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 6 October 2026.
