Away ticket allocation

Visiting supporters are in the Gil Merrick Stand lower tier. Recent Championship allocations have been close to 2,000, including 2,005 for one fixture, while the section can be reconfigured for a different competition or demand level.

Do not use the stand's historic maximum as the ticket allocation. The travelling club's sale notice confirms the blocks, total and whether collections or sales operate on the day.

Where away fans stand or sit

The away section is behind the goal on the Coventry Road side, towards the Kop corner. Follow the visiting-supporter route and the turnstile printed on the ticket; home queues use other parts of the Gil Merrick and Kop approaches.

The lower tier is seated and can include rail seating or persistent standing depending on the block. Supporters who need to remain seated should arrange an appropriate row before purchase.

View and weather

The stand is covered and close to the pitch, with a direct behind-goal view. Supporting structure and the tier above can make some rear positions feel enclosed, while lower rows are more exposed to rain.

Food, drink and facilities

The visiting concourse provides hot food, soft drinks and normally alcohol. Payment method and alcohol service can change by fixture, and the compact concourse becomes busy with a full allocation.

The mapped Gil Merrick concourse is the reliable post-turnstile option. The Royal George and Roost are home-only; use the pub map rather than assuming every Coventry Road venue admits away colours.

Tickets and accessibility

Away wheelchair places, companion seats and a small number of accessible parking spaces must be booked through the visiting club. Confirm the correct entrance and any drop-off permission because road closures affect the stadium perimeter.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 30 September 2026.
