Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Stadium parking is very limited and not a dependable turn-up option for visiting supporters. Birmingham's away guide identifies matchday parking products when available; buy the space in advance and follow its specific entrance rather than driving to the main reception.

Street parking in Bordesley and Small Heath is heavily controlled. Accessible spaces for visiting supporters are limited and must be reserved through the clubs; coaches use a separate police and steward route.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Birmingham. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Bordesley is the closest station, around a 10-minute walk, but it normally receives extra calls only when shown in the matchday timetable. Birmingham Moor Street and New Street are the dependable main arrivals; allow 25-35 minutes to walk through Digbeth, or use a current bus or taxi plan.

By bus or coach

Frequent buses use Coventry Road and Bordesley Circus from the city centre. Matchday diversions and slow traffic are common, so get off where instructed and leave a walking margin rather than aiming for the final service before kick-off.

Driving

Use the A45 Coventry Road from the city side or the signed routes from the M6 and M42. Cattell Road, Tilton Road and Coventry Road are controlled around the fixture, and the final approach can be closed to general traffic.

Use B9 4RL only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 30 September 2026.
