Away end information

The visiting configuration at The Optima Stadium is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

Most 2026/27 National League South fixtures at the Optima Stadium have operated without segregation, so visiting supporters buy the away ticket category but move within the shared public areas. There is no fixed away allocation in that configuration.

Weston can introduce soft or full segregation for higher-demand matches and may change the operation at short notice. The released ticket total, standing footprint, seats and sale deadline are therefore fixture-specific; the 3,150 ground capacity is not an away allocation.

Where away fans stand or sit

At an unsegregated match, visitors use the general turnstiles and can choose eligible standing areas or any separately purchased seat. When segregation is imposed, the club publishes a match-specific visitor entrance and separated section.

Follow the away category and gate on the live ticket. Do not rely on an older diagram because Weston has used different turnstile and barrier layouts for larger followings and cup ties.

View and weather

The compact ground combines covered terracing, open standing and a seated stand with just over 300 places. A shared ticket gives flexibility, while a separated allocation may restrict visitors to only part of those facilities.

Open areas are exposed to coastal weather and the older covered sections can become dense. Book the correct seat in advance if standing is unsuitable, and arrive early for a preferred rail position.

Food, drink and facilities

The Sportsman Bar, burger bar and stadium outlets are available at normal shared fixtures. The most recent detailed visitor guide states that food, drink, the club shop and car park are cashless, with one cash turnstile, and that alcohol can be consumed in the ground in plastic cups.

Segregation can change bar access, catering points and alcohol service. Product range, opening time and payment arrangements should be checked against the current match pack rather than assumed from a shared fixture.

Tickets and accessibility

Contact Weston before purchase to arrange wheelchair viewing, companion admission, a suitable seat and accessible parking. The correct gate can change with segregation, and an ordinary standing ticket may not provide the route or position required.

Weston-super-Mare station has partial step-free access and no lifts, with passenger assistance available. Confirm the platform arrangement and use route 7, a taxi or the agreed drop-off if the two-mile final leg is unsuitable.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 11 October 2026.
