Getting there & parking

London Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

West Ham states that no public car parking is available at London Stadium. Chargeable Westfield Stratford City parking may be available, but it is a commercial option rather than official visiting-supporter parking and must be checked against matchday access and closing arrangements.

The 2026/27 access statement lists six accessible bays for visiting supporters in the Gold Top Car Park. These are subject to availability and must be requested through the visiting club; surrounding roads can remain closed for 20-30 minutes after the final whistle.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in East London. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Stratford is the main interchange, served by the Elizabeth, Jubilee and Central lines, DLR, London Overground and National Rail. West Ham's current guide describes the walk as about 20 minutes via Bridge 1 or Bridge 5. Stratford International is another 20-minute approach, while Pudding Mill Lane is roughly ten minutes from the stadium and leads naturally towards Bridge 4 and the visiting entrance.

By bus or coach

Stratford Bus Station and Stratford City Bus Station are served by routes 25, 86, 97, 104, 108, 158, 241, 257, 262, 276, 308, 425, 473 and D8. Official visiting coaches must follow the match-specific instructions issued through the clubs; coach parking is not a turn-up facility.

Driving

London Stadium is a public-transport destination inside Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Matchday road closures and pedestrian controls affect the stadium island and the Stratford approaches, so driving without a confirmed off-street booking is impractical.

Use E20 2ST only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around London Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 4 October 2026.
