Inside The Vale

Away end information

The visiting configuration at The Vale is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

The Vale frequently operates without segregation, but selected matches create a dedicated visiting zone. The released location and number vary substantially with risk, demand and the stands in use.

A March 2026 high-demand fixture gave visitors 1,025 places at the East End, including 369 unreserved seats in the MODU Stand and covered and uncovered terracing. That is a fixture example, not a standing allocation.

Where away fans stand or sit

When the East End configuration is used, visitors normally enter through gates 3 and 4 and use the MODU Stand plus the Hawthorne and Shots terraces. Other segregated layouts have used the Social Club side, so follow the current ticket rather than an older diagram.

At unsegregated matches supporters can move more freely, subject to stewarding. The club or visiting team's match notice will say whether a separate away fan zone is operating.

View and weather

The visiting mix can include unreserved seats, covered standing and open terrace. Sightlines are close to the pitch, but some sections are exposed and the exact proportion under cover changes with the segregation plan.

Food, drink and facilities

Recent segregated guides have advertised a Vale Bar and hot-food outlet in the away fan zone. The social club usually offers the strongest pre-match facility, but admission and whether it is home-only or mixed can change for high-demand matches.

Do not rely on one permanent concourse layout. Check the fixture notice for bar opening, alcohol service, food points and payment arrangements.

Tickets and accessibility

Book wheelchair or amenity seating, a companion ticket and any suitable parking through the clubs before travel. The grass car park may not be usable in poor weather, and the usual visiting zone contains standing areas.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 2 October 2026.
