Make a day of it
The Vale is unusually well served by the Underground and works best as a simple Ruislip trip. The social club can be convenient, but higher-demand fixtures may assign it or the bars differently.
Arrive at Ruislip or Ruislip Manor, use a mapped venue and walk about five minutes to The Vale.
Use Chiltern Railways only after checking the hourly service and allow a longer walk.
Book the grass car park only when offered, or reserve a verified Ruislip space away from the residential entrance.
11:45 - arrive around Ruislip and use the social club only if the fixture notice confirms mixed admission.
13:40 - walk to Grosvenor Vale and identify whether the match is segregated.
13:50 - find the current gate and whether the ticket is for the MODU seats or terrace.
17:00 - walk back to Ruislip or Ruislip Manor while the grass car park and residential road clear.
Wealdstone Social Club is mapped as the established mixed-supporter bar, with J.J. Moon's as a check-first Ruislip Manor option. The visiting concourse or fan-zone outlet is included for segregated fixtures.
Ruislip Lido and the woodland railway suit a very early arrival with extra local transport. Central Ruislip is the more practical matchday base for food, the tube and the short walk.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 2 October 2026.
