Getting there & parking

Plainmoor is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Torquay United states that there is no dedicated parking at Plainmoor. Its current visitor guide advises arriving early for lawful street parking, but availability is not guaranteed and supporters must obey restrictions, protect driveways and leave room for residents and emergency access.

Accessible arrangements and supporter coaches must be agreed with the clubs before travel. For a predictable car trip, reserve a managed space or private driveway for the full event window and check whether the walking route includes steep streets.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Torquay. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Torre is the nearest station and the club quotes a walk of about 25 minutes to Plainmoor. The route climbs through residential streets, so allow extra time and check Great Western Railway engineering work and the final return. Torquay station is farther from the ground and normally needs a bus or taxi.

By bus or coach

Stagecoach route 35A runs from Torquay Harbourside to the Plainmoor shops, around five minutes from the away turnstiles. The timetable was current on 10 October 2026, but Sunday, evening and disruption patterns can change; save the live return times before entering.

Driving

Approach Torquay on the A380 and follow local signs towards Plainmoor and St Marychurch. The final roads are residential and there is no club-owned general supporter car park, so do not drive to Warbro Road without a lawful space already identified.

Use TQ1 3PS only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Plainmoor to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 10 October 2026.
