Visiting supporters use the West Stand behind the goal on Leppings Lane. Sheffield Wednesday publishes a maximum away allocation of 4,000, but individual league offers can be considerably smaller and can use upper, lower or both tiers.
The travelling club's ticket notice is definitive for the released blocks, total, collection booth and whether any seats have a restricted view.
The West Stand is entered from Leppings Lane, with the away ticket collection booth between Gates 6 and 7. Turnstiles and tier depend on the ticket; do not follow home entrances on Penistone Road.
Upper-tier seats give a strong elevated view, while some positions can be affected by roof supports or the tier above. The lower tier sits closer to the pitch and can feel more exposed to rain.
The visiting concourses provide food, drink and toilets, but they are older and can become crowded when both tiers are in use. Product range and alcohol availability vary by fixture.
Hillsborough Park is about 5-10 minutes from the away entrance. Arrange wheelchair or amenity seating and companion tickets through the visiting club; drop-off and any parking permission must be confirmed in advance.
