Visiting supporters sit along the touchline in the covered Willbutts Lane Stand. The routine section is about 1,500, while the whole stand can be released for a substantially larger following.
A typical visiting allocation is around 1,500 seats in part of the Willbutts Lane Stand. Individual league fixtures can start much smaller, while high-demand and cup matches can open most or all of the stand to roughly 3,500-3,650.
Always use the visiting club's sale notice: Rochdale adjusts the released blocks to demand, competition and segregation.
The Willbutts Lane Stand runs the full length of the north touchline. The usual visiting section is towards one end, with more blocks opened as sales increase.
Away coaches and turnstiles use the Willbutts Lane side. Follow stewards and temporary traffic signs because the road is managed for supporter safety.
The single-tier stand is covered and has no supporting pillars, giving one of the clearer side-on views at this level. Its roof and acoustics help even a moderate following generate noise.
The stand is older and concourse space can feel busy when a large allocation is in use, so enter before the final rush.
The away facilities provide pies, burgers, hot dogs, chips, snacks and drinks, with the exact range dependent on the fixture and kiosks opened.
There are no cash turnstiles. Buy in advance where possible and carry a working card or phone for the current stadium arrangements.
Tickets are normally supplied through the visiting club, with online purchasing preferred. Follow its collection and digital-ticket instructions.
Away accessible parking is extremely limited and must be booked in advance. Request suitable seating and companion provision when purchasing the match ticket.
