Away supporters use the South Stand. Recent allocations demonstrate the fixture range: Cardiff received about 2,700 in April 2026, while the full configurable section can rise towards 4,300 when Reading releases additional blocks.

The visiting area occupies the left-hand portion of the South Stand when viewed from the pitch, beside the home Club 1871 section. The back five rows of part of the away area now have rail seating, so buy the appropriate ticket if remaining seated is essential.
Follow the South Stand turnstile printed on the ticket. Coaches and park-and-ride buses use controlled set-down points and can be held briefly after full-time.
The covered bowl provides clear sightlines with no pillars and a good elevation from higher rows. The away section sits close to Reading's vocal home support; front rows are more exposed through the open corners.
South Stand kiosks sell hot food, snacks, soft drinks and normally alcohol. Card payment and a downloaded digital ticket are the safest assumptions; options and alcohol service remain fixture-dependent.
The stadium is isolated from central Reading, so use the mapped pub plan before boarding the football bus rather than expecting a broad choice at the turnstile.
Book wheelchair or amenity seating, companion tickets and accessible parking through the visiting club. Confirm whether the seat is in the South Stand or another accessible platform and whether the park-and-ride vehicle can meet the required access.
