Away ticket allocation

Routine visiting supporters are currently sold seats in Section 7 of the BDS Digital Stand. Queen of the South can release more of that side stand and open the Terregles Street terrace for a larger following, so neither the whole stand nor the terrace should be assumed.

The club publishes the live stand, section, turnstile and ticket-collection plan for each match. Buy against that notice and treat Palmerston's overall 8,690 capacity as a stadium figure, not an away allocation.

Where away fans stand or sit

The BDS Digital Stand runs along the side of the pitch. Follow the official station route past the Ice Bowl to the rear of the stand; visiting accessible entry is through Gate H when that configuration applies.

For a larger fixture, the uncovered Terregles Street terrace behind the goal may supplement the seats. The approach and segregation line can then change, so follow stewards rather than an older ground diagram.

View and weather

BDS seating is covered, close to pitch level and gives a useful side-on view. Lower rows are more exposed to wind and rain, and the low stand profile is less elevated than a modern large all-seater.

The Terregles Street terrace is standing accommodation and uncovered. If it is released, plan for Dumfries weather and check whether the ticket is seated or terrace before joining a queue.

Food, drink and facilities

Current visitor information says the BDS catering kiosks are shared and cash-only. The Arena cafe accepts card before entry, but supporters should not assume the same payment method once through the turnstiles.

Toilets and matchday catering are available in the ticketed areas. The Palmerston Lounge Bar is outside the turnstiles and is currently described by the club as open to all supporters; it is not a guarantee of alcohol service inside the away section.

Tickets and accessibility

Arrange wheelchair or amenity seating, companion tickets and parking through both clubs. Current information identifies Gate H for visiting disabled access and places accessible parking by the north side of the BDS Stand or the Arena, subject to advance confirmation.
