Inside Penydarren Park

Away end information

The visiting configuration at Penydarren Park is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.

Away ticket allocation

Merthyr publishes the visitor arrangement for each match. Many current fixtures are unsegregated, allowing both sets of supporters to use most terraces, the Lyn Jones Grandstand and the Anthony Hughes Stand.

Higher-demand matches can be segregated and all-ticket, with separate standing, seating and entrances. The David Miles Stand is currently home-only with reduced capacity during safety works, so the listed ground capacity is not a visitor allocation.

Where away fans stand or sit

At an unsegregated game, follow the club's live guide and use the turnstile or shared areas it identifies. Webleys and Romans can admit both sets before kick-off.

At a segregated fixture, the ticket and opponent guide control the visitor entrance, terrace and any seated section. Do not infer that layout from a previous unsegregated match.

View and weather

Penydarren Park combines covered seating with standing around an athletics-style historic ground. The precise visitor position changes; open terracing can be exposed to rain and wind, while older seated areas may have structural obstructions.

Food, drink and facilities

Current unsegregated guides list the Food Kabin, Holvey's Café, a portable bar and the Webleys and Romans bars. The offer and supporter access change when segregation is imposed.

Card and cash arrangements are not guaranteed across every outlet. Carry an alternative payment method and use the live match guide for opening times.

Tickets and accessibility

Accessible parking is very limited and must be arranged in advance. Confirm wheelchair or amenity seating, a companion ticket, the correct entrance and the uphill route from town with the clubs before purchase.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 3 October 2026.
