The visiting configuration at Gateshead International Stadium is fixture-dependent. Use the away club's sale notice for the exact section, entrance and ticket total.
Away supporters are normally placed in part of the large covered East Stand. The whole stand holds about 4,000, but that figure is not the routine away allocation and home supporters can share the stand under a flexible segregation line.
The sale total therefore changes with demand and the fixture risk assessment. Follow the visiting club's block and entrance instructions.
The East Stand is an all-seated side stand opposite the Main Stand. Visitors receive the blocks defined for the match rather than a permanent behind-goal end.
The covered stand has no supporting pillars, but the athletics track creates a substantial distance from the pitch and can weaken the atmosphere. Higher rows generally provide the clearest perspective.
The East Stand has its own catering and toilets, with hot food and drinks normally available. The separate Stadium Bar is marked home-only on the pub map, so do not rely on it before entry.
Book accessible seating, companion tickets and any required parking through the visiting club in advance. Ask for the step-free route because some approaches around the athletics complex include ramps or steps.
