Getting there & parking

Deva Community Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Chester's current visiting-fans page advertises a large stadium car park at £5. Spaces are still finite and access can change: a high-demand April 2026 fixture made all on-site parking ticket-only, so use the live match guide for payment and pre-booking details.

Blue Badge and other accessible parking should be arranged with the clubs before travel. Do not assume nearby business premises or the industrial estate provide unrestricted football parking; observe signs and keep emergency access clear.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Chester. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Chester station is about 2.5 miles from the Deva Community Stadium. The club advises allowing roughly 45-50 minutes to walk; the city centre and Watergate Street provide the natural route, but a bus or pre-booked taxi is more practical for many supporters.

By bus or coach

Chester's current visitor guide directs supporters to the 10A from the city-centre bus interchange, followed by roughly half a mile on foot up Bumpers Lane. Check the live Arriva timetable and a return option because evening and Sunday frequencies can differ. Away coaches should follow the visiting club's parking instructions.

Driving

From the M56 follow signs for North Wales and the A494, then leave for the A548 towards Chester and follow the club's Bumpers Lane directions. The industrial-estate approach and stadium car park queue can slow close to kick-off, so do not treat the postcode as the whole plan.

Use CH1 4LT only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Deva Community Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 1 October 2026.
