By train

Aberdeen station is beside Union Square. Allow 35-45 minutes for the direct walk via Market Street, King Street and Park Road rather than relying on a tight map estimate.

Rail services link Aberdeen with Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. Check the final return and any engineering work before an evening or Sunday fixture.

By bus or taxi

Frequent city buses use the King Street corridor, leaving a short walk to the away approach. Confirm the return stop because matchday traffic controls can change where services pick up.

A taxi from the station is a short journey in free-flowing traffic but can be much slower close to kick-off.

Driving

The A90 and city bypass feed approaches from the south and west, while the A96 serves the north-west. Use the stadium postcode only for orientation and navigate to the chosen car park for the final leg.

Pittodrie is enclosed by residential streets, the beach area and matchday controls. Do not expect to find a lawful space beside the turnstiles shortly before kick-off.

After the match

King Street, Beach Boulevard and the limited roads around the ground become busy after full-time. Walking back towards the centre is often more predictable than waiting for the first bus or taxi.
