Official matchday parking at the stadium and Monks Cross is limited and must be booked in advance. Current visitor guidance describes roughly 400 spaces; there is no dependable turn-up option.

Vangarde and retail parking have separate stay, spend and registration conditions. Read the current operator signs and booking confirmation rather than assuming football parking is permitted.

By train

York station is about three miles from the stadium. Use the current First York route 9 or another Monks Cross service, a taxi, or allow around an hour to walk; build in a large traffic margin for the return.

Check the current local timetable for the final leg to LNER Community Stadium. Away coaches and minibuses should follow the instructions issued by the visiting club and must not assume a public parking bay.

Driving

Use the A64 and A1237 northern ring road, then follow signs for Monks Cross. Retail-park roads are busy and parking is controlled, so navigate to the pre-booked matchday product rather than an ordinary shopping bay.

Use YO32 9AF only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around LNER Community Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.
