Make a day of it
The station, centre and ground are close enough for a compact day. Parking is the main constraint: the stadium has no fan spaces and the adjacent retail park is enforced.
Arrive by rail, use the station pub after checking admission, then make the level walk west to the entrance named for the fixture.
Use Liquorice Gardens or the wider central area, then leave 20 minutes to walk through the station corridor to Sandy Lane.
Reserve a private driveway or managed space, or choose a signed town-centre car park and avoid every retail-parking restriction.
11:45 - arrive at Worksop station or secure a full-duration lawful parking space.
12:00-13:35 - use a mapped check-first venue or the recommended station and centre corridor and eat before leaving.
13:40 - walk towards Babbage Way and confirm whether Gate C segregation is operating.
17:00 onwards - return to the station and centre, or allow the retail approaches and Sandy Lane to clear before driving.
The designated away bar is mapped for segregated fixtures. The Mallard and Liquorice Gardens are verified active but remain check-first, while the station and town-centre corridor is the recommended wider area. The Tigers Den is not presented as an away option because it becomes home-only when segregation applies.
Mr Straw's House and Worksop Priory fit a central visit. Clumber Park and Creswell Crags need a car or additional transport and are better for an overnight or early-arrival plan.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 5 October 2026.
