Worksop Town travel guide

Getting there & parking

KC Sofas Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Worksop's current club guidance is explicit that there is no supporter parking at the stadium, including no disabled supporter parking. Ground spaces are reserved for players, directors and officials.

Use a signed town-centre public car park or lawful surrounding street only after checking restrictions. Retail-park access roads are prohibited and customer car parks are actively enforced; accessible passengers may be dropped off if stewards can facilitate it.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Worksop. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Worksop station is the simplest arrival and the club describes the route as a reasonably level ten-minute walk. Leave by Station Approach, head west along Carlton Road and Sandy Lane, then use the gate named in the live fixture notice.

By bus or coach

Worksop bus station is in the centre, roughly a 15-minute walk from the ground. Check the local timetable for evening fixtures. Visiting coaches must drop off at the club's designated point, depart immediately and return only at the published collection time.

Driving

From the M1 use Junction 31 and the A57 towards Worksop; A1 arrivals can approach through the local A57 network. The stadium sits beside a retail park, but neither its access roads nor customer car parks are lawful football overflow parking.

Use S80 1UJ only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around KC Sofas Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 5 October 2026.
