Make a day of it
Sutton is a straightforward suburban rail trip when the park-side away entrance is understood. The High Street is the sensible food base before the 20-minute walk.
Arrive at Sutton station, eat or use the mapped central venue, then walk or take the 80 or 413 bus.
Use the adjacent station but continue past the home entrance to Collingwood Recreation Ground and turnstiles 5-8.
Use the municipal car park named by the club and walk down Collingwood Road to the away side.
11:45 - arrive at Sutton station and remain around the High Street for food.
13:20 - walk or take the 80 or 413 bus towards Collingwood Road.
13:45 - enter Collingwood Recreation Ground and find away turnstiles 5-8.
17:00 onwards - return towards Sutton station or Gibson Road while Gander Green Lane clears.
The Gander Inn and The Moon on the Hill are both mapped as check-first rather than permanently confirmed away venues. Stadium bars may mix supporters at unsegregated games, while the visiting zone has its own concourse provision when segregation applies.
Honeywood Museum and the ponds at Carshalton make a compact local detour. Nonsuch Park is better for an early arrival by car, while Sutton High Street supplies the practical food and shopping base.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
