Getting there & parking

Borough Sports Ground is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

The club car park on Gander Green Lane is permit-only on matchdays. Sutton's current official guidance directs visiting drivers to the Gibson Road municipal car park, around a 15-minute walk from the away entrance.

Check council charges, opening hours and availability before travel. Official coaches, drop-off and accessible arrangements are separate; wheelchair provision and any parking permission must be booked in advance.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Sutton. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Sutton United recommends Sutton station for visiting supporters. It is about a 20-minute walk from the top of the High Street, with routes 80 and 413 covering part of the journey. West Sutton is beside the ground, but away fans must continue past the home entrance and use the park-side approach.

By bus or coach

Route 413 uses Gander Green Lane and route 80 runs along Collingwood Road. London buses are cashless; check the live timetable and leave time to walk through Collingwood Recreation Ground to the away turnstiles.

Driving

From the M25 use Junction 8 and the A217 towards Sutton. The club tells away drivers not to turn into Gander Green Lane: continue to the Sutton one-way system for the Gibson Road municipal car park, then walk via Collingwood Road.

Use SM1 2EY only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Borough Sports Ground to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
