Getting there & parking

MGroup Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

The stadium's current parking charge is £5. Spaces are limited, can be bought with a match ticket or taken first-come on the day, and the club encourages public transport.

The main match car park is outside the Community Arena and external 3G pitch. If it fills, the entrance car park may be used free at weekends when opened; extra parking is announced fixture by fixture. Accessible bays must be pre-booked, and nearby resident-only streets, verges and double yellow lines are not an overflow option.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Oxford. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Oxford station is about four miles from the MGroup Stadium, so it is not a practical last-minute walk. Oxford City's current travel page directs supporters to Stagecoach route 14 from station stop R4 towards Horseman Close, opposite the stadium entrance; the scheduled journey is about 20 minutes, but allow for city traffic.

By bus or coach

Stagecoach route 14 links Oxford station with Horseman Close, while the X3 from the city centre stops at Northway, Copse Lane, about five minutes from the ground. Check the live operator timetable and the return stop before kick-off. Away coaches must agree their arrival and parking plan with the clubs.

Driving

Approach Marston and Marsh Lane from the A40 or A4142 and follow the club's current matchday signs. Oxford City states that the B4150 and usual Marsh Lane approach are outside the temporary central congestion-charge area, but central Oxford traffic still makes a tight arrival risky.

Use OX3 0NQ only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around MGroup Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 4 October 2026.
