Make a day of it

Plan your Maidstone United away day

Maidstone works well as a rail trip, an early town-centre visit or a pre-booked parking day. The Flower Pot has the strongest current away evidence; central pubs need a check before colours or groups are taken inside.

01

Rail and Flower Pot

Arrive at Maidstone East, use the verified visiting pub if its live admission permits, then take the short walk to the correct stadium gate.

02

Town centre first

Use a mapped check-first pub or the wider central area, then allow 15-20 minutes to reach James Whatman Way and the live visitor entrance.

03

Pre-booked driver

Use a named public car park or reserve a Maidstone driveway or managed space for the complete event window; do not target the stadium car park.

A sensible 3pm plan

11:45 - arrive at Maidstone East or the parking location checked for the entire match window.

12:00-13:25 - use the Flower Pot or a correctly categorised town-centre option after confirming matchday admission.

13:30 - walk to James Whatman Way and check whether shared or segregated turnstiles are operating.

17:00 onwards - return to the station or allow public car parks and the stadium approach to clear before driving.

Food and pubs

The Flower Pot is the clearest current visiting-supporter pub, while The Society Rooms and Druids Arms are verified active but remain check-first. Maidstone East and the town centre form the wider recommended area, and the Town End concourse is mapped separately.

Things to do

Maidstone Museum, Brenchley Gardens and the River Medway around Lockmeadow fit an early arrival. The Archbishop's Palace area is another short central detour, but allow enough time for the walk back to James Whatman Way.
