Getting there & parking

Focus Community Arena is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

The club's current official visitor information lists a small on-site car park at £5 per car. Space, price, access and any reservation rule remain fixture-dependent, so confirm the live match information and do not rely on an older visitor guide that quoted £1.

Residential parking on Vauxhall Road fills quickly and must not obstruct residents, driveways or restrictions. Contact the club in advance for an accessible bay, drop-off or coach arrangement rather than treating the small general car park as guaranteed.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Hemel Hempstead. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Hemel Hempstead station is about a 45-minute walk from Vauxhall Road and is not the simple default final leg. A taxi normally takes roughly six to eight minutes. For a bus, first reach the town-centre Riverside or Forum stops and use the live local journey planner for the current Vauxhall Road or Adeyfield service.

By bus or coach

Local services through Adeyfield and Vauxhall Road change, and some routes no longer start at the railway station on Saturdays. Current town-centre services include the 301/302 corridor; verify the exact stop, direction and post-match return rather than relying on an old route number. Away coaches require the club's fixture instructions.

Driving

From the M1 leave at Junction 8, follow signs for Hemel Hempstead and then Vauxhall Road. From the M25 use Junction 21 for the M1 north; from the A41 take the Hemel Hempstead exit. The small ground car park fills quickly, so arrive early only with a confirmed plan.

Use HP2 4HW only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Focus Community Arena to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 8 October 2026.
