Getting there & parking

Alcaline Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Folkestone Invicta does not operate dependable general supporter parking. A small area in front of The Dugout is council-owned and limited, while the adjacent Bowls Club parking is for its members only; street restrictions and residents must be respected.

Use a lawful town-centre, station or pre-booked event space and allow for the walk to Cheriton Road. Contact the club in advance for accessible parking or a drop-off because neither the council bays nor roadside availability is a guaranteed accessible plan.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Folkestone. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Folkestone West is the closest station. The club describes the walk to the Dugout-side turnstiles as about six minutes, while visitor guides allow nearer 10-15 minutes depending on exit and entrance. Folkestone Central is around 13 minutes from the cricket-ground end and is convenient for the town-centre pubs and hotels.

By bus or coach

Stagecoach routes 17, 71 and 71A serve the Morrisons and Harvey Grammar School area near Cheriton Road. Check the live timetable, stop direction and last useful return. Away coaches and minibuses must use the location communicated for the fixture rather than the small Dugout-side parking area.

Driving

Leave the M20 at Junction 13, follow the A2034 towards Folkestone and turn left at the second set of traffic lights. Continue past Harvey Grammar School; the stadium is about 100 metres further on the left. Do not turn into the adjacent bowls club or expect stadium parking.

Use CT19 5JU only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Alcaline Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 8 October 2026.
