Make a day of it
Farnham is compact enough for a station, town-centre pub and ground itinerary on foot. A direct Fan Zone plan works only while the match remains unsegregated; drivers need a confirmed Hart, managed or private space.
Walk from Farnham station through the centre, use a mapped check-first venue and continue to the correct Mead Lane gate.
Go directly to the Memorial Ground and use the shared Fan Zone only while the live fixture notice confirms unsegregated access.
Use the current public-car-park instruction or reserve a lawful Farnham driveway or managed space for the entire event window.
11:45 - arrive at Farnham station or the parking location checked for the full match window.
12:00-13:25 - eat in the town centre or use the Fan Zone only if the current guide confirms visitor access.
13:30 - reach Mead Lane, check whether Gate 3 is operating and use the section printed on the ticket.
17:00 onwards - return through the centre or allow the Hart car parks and Mead Lane pedestrian flow to clear.
The Memorial Ground Fan Zone had confirmed mixed-supporter access at a current unsegregated match. The Wheatsheaf and Plough are verified active but remain check-first because neither publishes a permanent away-colours policy; central Farnham and Upper Hart form the recommended wider area.
Farnham Castle, the Museum of Farnham and Farnham Maltings are practical town-centre additions for an early arrival. Gostrey Meadow sits on the station-to-centre route; check opening times and leave enough time for the final walk to Mead Lane.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 8 October 2026.
