St James Park is close to Exeter city centre and has its own railway station. There is no general supporter parking at the stadium, so drivers should use an organised city, park-and-ride or pre-booked private option.
St James Park station is immediately beside the stadium on the local line from Exeter St Davids and Exeter Central. Mainline arrivals usually change at one of those stations.
Exeter Central is also only around 15 minutes away on foot, making the city centre a practical pre-match base.
Several local buses stop on streets around the ground, while Exeter's park-and-ride routes serve the city centre. Check matchday and evening times before choosing the return route.
From the M5, the common route uses Junction 29 and the B3183 towards the city. Central one-way streets and residential restrictions make a pre-selected car park important.
Do not navigate simply to 'St James Park' without including Exeter or EX4 6PX; Newcastle's stadium has the same name.
The local station can be busy and trains are short, so check alternatives via Exeter Central on foot. Drivers should expect delays on the central one-way system.
