Make a day of it

Plan your Everton away day

Everton's waterfront home creates a different away day from Goodison Park. Central Liverpool still provides the broadest pre-match base, but the last dockside leg and the controlled return from Sandhills need time.

01

Moorfields walk

Use the city centre, then allow roughly 35-45 minutes for the waterfront walk and security approach.

02

Sandhills route

Take Merseyrail and join the managed walking route, expecting a queue after the match.

03

Booked park-and-connect

Reserve an approved off-site space such as a current Bootle product and confirm the onward bus or walk.

A sensible 3pm plan

10:45 - arrive centrally and use a mapped check-first venue only after confirming its door policy.

12:45 - move towards Moorfields, Sandhills or the booked transport interchange.

13:35 - reach the dockside security perimeter and identify the eastern away entrance.

17:00 - join the managed Sandhills route or walk south while Regent Road remains controlled.

Food and pubs

The Titanic Hotel bar and North Western are mapped check-first; the Bramley Moore Hotel, Ten Streets Social and Ship & Mitre are home-only on this guide. Liverpool city centre is the recommended wider base, with the North Stand concourse after entry.

Things to do

The waterfront, Royal Albert Dock and Museum of Liverpool suit a city-centre start. The Titanic Hotel and Stanley Dock area are closer to the stadium, but road closures make an improvised taxi plan unreliable.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 30 September 2026.
