Getting there & parking

Hill Dickinson Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

There is no general visiting-supporter car park at the stadium. Everton advises drivers to pre-book an off-site facility and use the current travel hub; Bootle Strand has been used as a late-opening park-and-connect option, but availability and the onward service must be confirmed for the fixture.

Everton provides six free accessible away spaces, allocated in advance through the visiting club. Coach parking is on Regent Road rather than at the turnstiles, and the pedestrian route takes about 15 minutes.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Liverpool. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Sandhills is the closest Merseyrail station but remains roughly a 25-30 minute walk from the dockside ground. Matchday services can be longer and more frequent, yet the station is heavily managed after full-time. Moorfields is a longer city-centre walk; check Merseytravel's dated match plan before choosing.

By bus or coach

Everton and Merseytravel publish a fixture transport plan covering Soccerbus, city-centre shuttles, regular bus routes and the walk from Sandhills. Away coaches park on Regent Road north of Boundary Street, around 15 minutes from the stadium, and must follow the issued arrival slot.

Driving

Hill Dickinson Stadium sits on Regent Road in the northern docks. Matchday road closures and a broad resident-parking scheme operate around the site, so do not drive to L3 0BW without a confirmed parking booking and route.

Use L3 0BW only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Hill Dickinson Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 30 September 2026.
