Official matchday parking

Edinburgh City says there are no special matchday restrictions on the surrounding streets and identifies Wishaw Terrace, Dalgety Avenue, Dalgety Street and Marionville Road as current free-parking possibilities. Spaces are public, unreserved and subject to signs, road works and any event changes on the day.

The Meadowbank Sports Centre customer car park is for centre users and is likely to have limited or no football availability. Edinburgh Leisure's registered-customer terms must be followed; do not treat the centre car park as official supporter parking.

By train

Edinburgh Waverley is about a 30-minute walk from Meadowbank. Leave towards Princes Street or Calton Road, continue through Waterloo Place and along the A1 London Road, and allow extra time for city-centre crowds and crossings. The route is urban and well served by buses if the full walk is unsuitable.

By bus or coach

Edinburgh City's current guide lists Lothian routes 4, 19, 26, 34 and 44 from Princes Street to Meadowbank, with a typical journey of about 15 minutes. Check live diversions and the return stop for the fixture. Supporters' coaches and minibuses must obtain their drop-off and parking instructions in advance.

Driving

From central Edinburgh follow Waterloo Place and the A1 London Road east until Meadowbank is on the left. From the A720 City Bypass, use Old Craighall and the A1 towards Edinburgh and Leith. London Road is busy and bus-lane or street controls must be read carefully.

Use EH7 6AE only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Meadowbank Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.
