Getting there & parking

Meadowbank Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

The current club parking page says stadium spaces are restricted to match staff, so general visiting supporters should not drive to the ground entrance. St Martins Walk beside the stadium has 372 spaces, including disabled and motorcycle bays, but the club warns that it often fills on matchdays.

Official alternatives are Southside (181 spaces, about seven minutes), Wathen Road (104, about five minutes), Reigate Road (254, about ten minutes) and Pippbrook (143, about nine minutes). The council car parks are charged by the hour from 8am to 6pm Monday-Saturday; check current tariffs, RingGo details and any event restrictions.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Dorking. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Dorking Wanderers describes Meadowbank as a ten-minute walk from all three Dorking stations. Dorking West is closest at roughly half a mile, Dorking Deepdene serves the Reading-Redhill route and Dorking mainline has London Waterloo and Victoria services; allow about 15 minutes from the main station and check the exact return service.

By bus or coach

The ground sits immediately beside Dorking town centre, so most rail arrivals walk. Local buses serve the High Street and wider Dorking area, but there is no dedicated football shuttle; check the live stop and late-evening return before relying on a connection. Away coaches must use the arrangement issued for the fixture.

Driving

The usual approach leaves the M25 at Junction 9, follows the A243 and A24 to Dorking, then turns onto the A25 towards the town centre. At the White Horse turn into Mill Lane and follow signs for St Martins Walk rather than driving down the restricted stadium lane.

Use RH4 1DX only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Meadowbank Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 7 October 2026.
