Getting there & parking

Selhurst Park is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

Crystal Palace states that no public parking is available at Selhurst Park. Local streets have time and permit controls, and the matchday road closures make searching near kick-off especially impractical.

A small number of Blue Badge bays in the adjacent Sainsbury's car park are offered first-come for Premier League matches. All other drivers should use public transport or a legitimate reserved space outside the closure zone.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in Selhurst. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Selhurst, Thornton Heath and Norwood Junction stations are each within roughly 10-15 minutes of the stadium. Southern trains run from Victoria to Selhurst and from London Bridge to Norwood Junction; Crystal Palace station itself is about two miles away and is not the recommended arrival.

By bus or coach

Frequent TfL buses serve Whitehorse Lane and the surrounding area. Private-hire vehicles can use the corner of Park Road and Whitehorse Lane near the visiting end, but road closures make the final approach difficult close to kick-off.

Driving

Use the A23 and local routes towards Thornton Heath, then follow the fixture traffic plan. Permit-only streets surround Selhurst Park and roads around the stadium close from about three hours before kick-off until roughly one hour after full-time.

Use SE25 6PU only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Selhurst Park to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 2 October 2026.
