Celtic Park is in Glasgow's East End, roughly two miles from the city centre. Dalmarnock and Bridgeton are the nearest rail stations, while limited official parking and event-day road controls make public transport or a booked space the safer plan.
Dalmarnock is the usual rail stop and is around a 10-15 minute walk from Celtic Park. Bridgeton is another practical option at roughly 15-20 minutes on foot.
Services run from central Glasgow stations, but platforms and trains can be extremely busy after full-time. Check the current timetable and allow a queueing margin.
Several city buses use London Road and Gallowgate. Stops and diversions can change under matchday traffic plans, so note the return stop before entering the ground.
The walk from George Square or Merchant City is around 40-50 minutes. It is straightforward for many supporters but exposed in poor weather and crowded close to kick-off.
The M74 and A74 corridor provide the main road approach. Navigate to the booked car park rather than simply to G40 3RE because stadium roads and bus routes are controlled around major fixtures.
Residential permit zones and temporary restrictions operate around Parkhead. Do not park across drives, on verges or in nearby retail spaces without express event permission.
The station queues and London Road traffic can be substantial. Walking west towards Glasgow Green or waiting for the first surge to clear may be more predictable than a tight connection.
