Official event parking is limited and must be checked and booked in advance. Bristol City's current travel page directs supporters to bookable provision around Winterstoke Road, including stadium-side arrangements offered for the event.

Do not arrive expecting a turn-up stadium space. Accessible away parking is very limited and should be arranged with Supporter Services when booking the match ticket.

By train

Parson Street is the closest rail stop, roughly a 10-15 minute walk, but it has a limited local service, no lifts and no step-free platform access. Most long-distance visitors arrive at Bristol Temple Meads and use a matchday bus, local connection or taxi; walking from Temple Meads takes around 40-50 minutes.

By bus or coach

Check the current local timetable for the final leg to Ashton Gate Stadium. Away coaches and minibuses should follow the instructions issued by the visiting club and must not assume a public parking bay.

Driving

From the M5, approaches commonly use Junction 18 and the A4/A370 towards Ashton Gate. Winterstoke Road, Ashton Road and the Cumberland Basin can queue heavily, and Bristol's Clean Air Zone may affect the chosen route.

Use BS3 2EJ only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Ashton Gate Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.
