Make a day of it
The Eyrie is a stadium-led away day outside central Bedford. The clubhouse is the clearest pre-match option; a town-centre start needs a properly timed bus or taxi onward.
Travel directly to The Eyrie and use the Eagles Bar when the fixture notice confirms mixed admission.
Use the central recommended area, then take the 72 or 73 bus or a booked taxi.
Reach the club or Dunbia parking before the main rush and follow stewards to the correct overflow.
11:30 - arrive in Bedford or go directly to the Eagles Bar at The Eyrie.
13:10 - leave the centre on a checked 72 or 73 bus, or take the booked taxi.
13:45 - confirm whether the Railway End is segregated and find the correct entrance.
17:00 - use the checked return bus or taxi; drivers should wait for the Meadow Lane queue to ease.
The Eagles Bar and Maxey Suite are mapped as the confirmed mixed-supporter choice. The King's Arms at Cardington and The Park in Bedford are check-first, Bedford town centre is the recommended wider area, and the away concourse is mapped for segregated fixtures.
The Higgins Bedford and the Embankment fit a town-centre arrival. Priory Country Park is closer to the Cardington side, but protect enough time for the final bus or taxi to The Eyrie.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 30 September 2026.
