Make a day of it

Plan your Aston Villa away day

Villa Park is easiest from central Birmingham or Witton. The North Stand redevelopment makes current access and parking instructions especially important throughout 2026/27.

01

Witton direct

Change at Birmingham New Street for Witton and use the short walk to the Doug Ellis turnstiles.

02

City-centre start

Use the mapped central options, then take the AV82 shuttle or a Walsall-line train to Witton.

03

Pre-booked driver

Reserve an official or verified private space and approach from the route in the booking rather than entering the residential zone.

A sensible 3pm plan

11:15 - arrive in Birmingham and use the mapped city-centre options for food or a drink.

13:05 - take the AV82 or a train from New Street to Witton.

13:35 - identify the correct Doug Ellis tier and entrance before the final queue.

17:00 onwards - use the managed Witton queue or the shuttle while the traffic exclusion zone clears.

Food and pubs

The Tennis Court in Perry Barr is the mapped designated away pub, although it is about a 35-minute walk. The Square Peg and Birmingham city centre are the practical mixed-supporter base; the Witton Arms is home-only, and the Doug Ellis concourse is the ticket-holder fallback.

Things to do

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, the Jewellery Quarter and the canals around Brindleyplace suit an early city-centre arrival. Aston Hall is close to Villa Park but opening hours should be checked around the fixture.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 1 October 2026.
