Make a day of it
Plough Lane works best as a rail-and-walk trip. The mapped away pubs sit away from the home-heavy stadium frontage, so build the final 20-minute walk into the plan.
Use Wimbledon Park station and The Woodman, then walk or take a planned bus to Gate 7.
Arrive at Earlsfield, use the mapped mixed-supporter pub and continue down Garratt Lane.
Use Haydons Road or Tooting Broadway and go straight to the North Stand concourse.
11:30 - arrive at Wimbledon Park or Earlsfield and use the correctly categorised mapped venue.
13:15 - begin the final walk, allowing for busy pavements and event traffic.
13:40 - follow Batsford Way and St Martin's Way to Gate 7 for searches and ticket checks.
17:00 onwards - walk back towards Earlsfield, Haydons Road or Tooting before joining crowded services.
The Woodman is the designated away pub and The Earlsfield is the mapped mixed-supporter alternative. Four immediate stadium-area options are marked home-only, while food and drink are available on the North Stand concourse after entry.
Wimbledon Windmill Museum and the open space of Wimbledon Common suit an early arrival. The Wandle Trail and nearby Merton Abbey Mills provide a quieter local alternative before moving towards Plough Lane.
These options keep the final matchday journey relatively short. Compare event-night prices, parking and cancellation terms before booking.
A central base is usually better for the station, food and the evening after the match.
Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
