Getting there & parking

Cherry Red Records Stadium is an away-day destination where the final approach matters. Check the fixture information before travel because parking, segregation and coach arrangements can change.

Parking options

Compare official and private matchday parking

Official matchday parking

There is no dependable general supporter car park at Plough Lane. Stadium spaces are reserved for operations, permits, hospitality and pre-arranged accessible users, while official coaches follow the fixture instructions issued to the visiting club.

The surrounding event-day controlled zone is actively restricted. Use public transport or a properly booked off-street space; accessible parking and drop-off must be arranged through the clubs before travel.

Private matchday parking

JustPark lists reservable managed spaces and private driveways in South-west London. Search around the stadium postcode, then check the real walking route, access window and cancellation terms before booking.

Private spaces are independent of the club; a very close driveway may still sit inside the post-match traffic queue.

Availability, prices and access arrangements can change by fixture. Always check the booking details before travelling.

By train

Earlsfield is the most useful mainline arrival for many visitors and is roughly a 20-minute walk along Garratt Lane. Haydons Road is closer but has a less frequent Thameslink service, while Tooting Broadway is around 25 minutes away on foot. Check the engineering-work plan before choosing the route.

By bus or coach

Frequent London buses use Garratt Lane, Plough Lane and the approaches from Wimbledon and Tooting. They can be slow in event traffic, so leave a walking margin rather than planning to arrive at the stop just before kick-off.

Driving

The ground sits between the A24 and Garratt Lane. Wandsworth's event-day controlled parking zone covers surrounding streets for designated fixtures, normally including the afternoon and evening match window, so the absence of a yellow line does not make a space legal.

Use SW17 0NR only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Cherry Red Records Stadium to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
