Rock Ferry is the closest station, around 15 minutes on foot; Birkenhead Central is about 20 minutes away and has more town-centre options. Merseyrail links both with Liverpool, but check late engineering work and platform changes.

By bus or coach

Check the current local timetable for the final leg to Prenton Park. Away coaches and minibuses should follow the instructions issued by the visiting club and must not assume a public parking bay.

Driving

Use the M53 Junction 3 or 4 approaches and follow signs for Prenton. The ground sits in controlled residential streets, so navigate to the booked club or private space rather than circling Prenton Road West.

Use CH42 9PY only for the general area, then follow matchday signs and the entrance named in your parking instructions. Allow extra time for residential roads and pedestrian traffic.

After the match

Expect the roads immediately around Prenton Park to move slowly while pedestrians clear. Rail users should confirm the last practical connection; drivers may prefer to wait before joining the main route.
