Make a day of it

Plan your Stirling Albion away day

Stirling combines a strong historic centre with a straightforward modern stadium on the eastern edge. Decide whether the day starts in the Old Town or goes directly to Forthbank, then protect enough time for the 1.5-mile final leg.

01

City centre first

Use the station, Old Town and mapped check-first pubs, then walk or take a live-timed bus to Forthbank.

02

Direct to Forthbank

Arrive early for free unreserved parking and use the all-supporter stadium bar before walking to the East Stand.

03

Historic overnight

Stay centrally for the castle and evening food, with a planned bus, taxi or walk to the match.

A sensible 3pm plan

11:15 - arrive at Stirling station, city centre or the confirmed Forthbank parking area.

11:45-13:25 - visit the Old Town, a mapped check-first venue or the all-supporter stadium bar.

13:30 - begin the walk or checked bus east; bar users should allow time to reach the opposite stand.

14:05 - enter through the turnstiles named on the ticket and choose a place within the released East Stand sections.

17:00 - walk back with the main supporter flow or wait for the planned bus while car-park traffic clears.

Food and pubs

The stadium Supporters Bar explicitly welcomes all supporters. City Walls and the Settle Inn are verified central pubs but remain check-first, Stirling city centre is the recommended wider area, and the away concourse is mapped separately.

Things to do

Stirling Castle and the Old Town reward an early arrival, while the National Wallace Monument sits north-east of the centre. Both require extra time and uphill walking; protect at least 45 minutes for the final journey to Forthbank.

Travel, parking, ticket allocations and stadium procedures can change by fixture. Check the latest information from both clubs and the relevant operator before travelling. Guide checked 29 September 2026.
